Alone in Malham

One tree sits alone on the Limestone Pavement, at the top of the incredible Malham Cove, North Yorkshire, UK.

Malham Cove is a huge curving amphitheatre shaped cliff formation of limestone rock. The vertical face of the cliff is about 260 feet high and the top of the cove is a large area of limestone pavement, with a strange pattern rarely seen in England, and one tree standing out alone.
